Hurricane Florence is coming to NC - CAFCON urges you to be prepared!

To all our Carolina (and Eastern seaboard) CAFCON peeps out there... stay safe and be prepared! Everything you've ever done to prepare your characters for an extended wilderness adventure will prepare you for the hurricane.

But in case you forgot...

► Water (1 gallon per person per day)
► Alcohol (you know you'll want it)
► Protein bars and bagged snacks (chips, chex mix, pretzels, etc)
► Canned food (and a manual can opener)
► Batteries (and charge up your rechargeable batteries)
► Fuel up your ride (and a generator, if you have one)
► Cash from ATM
► First aid kit
► Fill your bathtub up the day before to use for flushing toilets and providing drinking water for pets in case you lose power/water
► Moist towelettes/wet wipes
► Antibacterial gel
► Charge up your electronics the night before the anticipated storm hit (phone, e-reader, handheld games, iPod, rechargeable flashlights, etc...)
► Candles
► Lighter
► Clean out your cooler
► Charcoal/gas for your grill or camp stove (if you have one)
► Do all your dishes and laundry before the storm hits
► Put your solar lanterns and chargers in the sun NOW so they can begin charging
► Pet food
► Get your legit Rx meds filled
► Diapers, wipes, formula, etc for the baby
► Activities for the kid(s) cause you know they're going to drive you crazy AF
► If you have to travel, pack an overnight bag just in case
► Clear your deck furniture and grill (that stuff'll fly like an Air Elemental when the storm hits)
► Have your dungeon scenario ready to roll for when your unprepared friends come over begging for help. You'll help them, oh yes you will, but dammit, they're running their characters through 'Tomb of Horrors'. Serves them right!

Stay safe peeps!
